Thanks. Shutter speed 0.62sec, F/8. This was the longest shutter speed I could get (at ISO 64), so I took over 300 shots using the burst mode on my camera. Got 3 with lightening strikes in, only 1 that I am happy with (this 1).
it's a very futuristic piece, i like that, the way u get the feel right away once u take a look at it. I had to full-view to see your worksmanship better. I think u did alright, however, i think you were going for a slightly dramatic idea with the lighting but the clouds don't really complement it. The clouds right now just look dull and moody, u should try for something more domineering and bold.

Thanks for the comment. I agree that the sky might look better if it was dodged and burned. I did try to do this, but it just looked too fake, so I left it as it was. Thanks.
WOW!!! I adore lightening, I would love to catch it on camera. I've managed webcam before by filming but it wasn't a great angle, most of the lightening was cut off by houses. But as well the colours in this photo make it even more fascinating!
wow great work! I really like the colours on the bridge as well as the lightening itself. One slight crit is the horizon/water level is slightly off horizontal, not hugely noticable due to the dramatic nature and central compostion of the shot. When ever I drive over its allways raining or foggy.
I may head down there sometime when the weather pics up, its a fantastic piece of civil architecture

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This contest ends on Friday the 18th December 2009. If you want to enter, get your entries in quick! Here are all the entries so far. Also if you want to donate a prize, that would be fantastic too, just note me
